Isara Toddler size
So it’s been few months I’ve received my adjustable SSC, ISARA toddler size. It’s about time to write a report … the first one, with a 13kg passenger 🙂
Conditions of the test: 1 month home daily use and 2month while travelling daily use.
Airplanes, trains, classy countryside cocktail, forest and field walking, Paris & Rome all-day walking around, museums, Greek Island, kitespots.
Weather: Hot summer months.
Passenger: 25month, 13kg.
Max.time of nonstop wearing: 2,5h.
ISARAÂ V3 Manhattan toddler size SSC is an adjustable baby carrier suitable for babies from 8-9kg to 20kg with adjustable back and seat.
As a wearer, I’m completely happy and satisfied.
No back issues;
No shoulder discomfort;
No discomfort of any kind;
Easy and fast installation;
Proper weight distribution, so wearing 13kg all day was a pleasure.
Clips are strong and reliable, and they do not touch the skin-nice touch comfort wise.
There is a security elastic on each clip – checked them, they do perfectly their job.
Each strap is adjustable and the excess webbing can be rolled up – very useful feature.
The hood can be removed completely (I appreciate this option as we are not using it normally)
My toddler is very comfy in this SSC.
I can say it as she is happy to go in, she is staying inside for a long time, she sleeps in ISARA and happily goes on the back (I have the experience to wear my toddler in a normal size SSC and I can feel and see the difference straight away, she wasn’t staying inside so long, was not so relaxed when inside and wasn’t sleeping easily)
The back heights and width are adjustable (h: 39-50cm, w: 35-45cm) so my baby was held nice and tight respecting the physiological position.
Back support is good.
Knee to knee position is respected.
I’m happy to see that I still can increase the heights of the back, so I will keep using it for a while 🙂
Breastfeeding in ISARA toddler size happens just fine.
The waist has a big range of adjustability which is very important for me as a wearer and as a consultant.
As a mom of s/xs size, I’m happy the waist can be adjusted to me firm enough (a lot of SSC doesn’t give this possibility and on tiny women, the waist can be loose) and in the same time, it can be adjusted in 2 sec for my husband (xl).
As a consultant, I’m happy about it cause it means I can recommend it to all babywearer no matter their size.
Design wise: ISARA offers a wide range of colours for their SSC so anyone can find its favorite. I love my one colour ssc as it’s simple and fits into all my clothes, fits equally to sporty look and to classy cocktail dress.
So, yeah, I found my happiness in babywearing with Isara toddler size. It really matters to have a proper size ssc baby carrier. Because when it’s a properly chosen and properly adjusted you can go for miles with your baby in it, no matter his/her weight.
